MVA is proud to be a winner in Ohio’s Race to the Top school reform grant competition. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, the competition rewards ambitious reforms aimed at improving schools and increasing academic achievement.

Some of the areas we are focusing on are:

• Enhancing academic content and curriculum standards as well as assessment quality.
• Using data to improve instruction.
• Adopting comprehensive evaluation systems to ensure we maintain and support a staff of effective teachers and principals.
